Rest in peace, Daddy. Your war is over. ~July 22, 1948-September 27,2012 Your loving daughter, Julie Irene
Things that I’m not:
°very good at socializing
°financially savvy(although I am better)
°good at writing thank you notes, although I am trying.
°rich(far from it)
°unselfish(which means that I’m selfish, most of the time)
°perfect(Who is?) Thank God for GRACE….
We all have our failures that we live with and struggle through, day in and day out. Why, do we always judge others so harshly? Have we walked a mile in their shoes? Are the “crimes” they commit any worse than the crimes we commit? Do we have a plank in our own eye that needs to be removed?
Just thoughts I’ve been thinking through, lately. Felt like getting them out of my head.
http://www.aholyexperience.com/2013/04/what-christians-need-to-know-about-mental-health/ I love, love, love her way with words. I am weary, weary of death, weary of sadness, weary of ugly attitudes and people devouring each other when we should be loving. Weary of weariness, bone deep tiredness so deep it aches. Hope is in the morning and Jesus is always waiting on the other side, holding out his nail scarred hands. He knows. He gets it. He understands. He HEALS. Love to you all, ~Jules~
